Since the election is over, there's no point in further discussing the matter. What's done is done. Mods, I suggest that this folder be closed and moved into a one stop Obama discussion thread like the one currently for Bush in Current Events.

But what if I want to discuss the effects of the election of a statewide official? That won't belong in an "Obama" onestop.

The Election folder will be closed at a time yet to be determined and announced.
